Insomniac Dave, present and accounted for! Seriously though, those of us who
were @Home customers had a hellish week as far as internet access is concerned,
so posting to LUGNET wasn't nearly as important as it usually is.
I suspect this is also a slower time of year for most of us. Between gearing up
for Brickswest with new creations, dotating Lego class packs to nearby schools,
and my moderation duties at BionicleZone Community I've found I have less time
to post here at LUGNET. That will change in a couple of weeks, but until then a
post every couple of days is all one can expect from me.

Xmas blues? For once in my life, I'm not going through that. Heck, I'm finding
myself listening to Christmas music whenever I'm driving...something I've never
done before due to the depression factor. By all rights, I should be
encountering one of my deeper depressions right now, but everything is very calm
for me right now. The calm before the storm perhaps? I hope not, but I'm
prepared for it this time if that's the case. Irregardless, Happy Holodays to
all and to all a good night!

I also have noticed the past week has been unusually dead when it comes to
online communication. My home e-mail, my gaming e-mail, even my work e-mail
have all been getting maybe a third of the input they normally get. Lugnet
seems to be no exception.
The cause is perhaps the holiday season. People are out shopping more.
They are decorating for the season. They are wrapping gifts and writing
cards. They are attending dinner parties, etc., etc. That might explain
*some* of the quietness.
Although, personally I do all those things (except for shopping) all the
time, on top of running two role-playing events a week, attending board game
nights, building MOCs, reading history texts, dancing at techno and goth
clubs, drinking at local working class bars, and occasionally driving two
hours to catch a NELUG meeting. All that and I still enjoy finding time to
post on LUGNET and e-mail friends regularly. I guess I'm just crazy though.
And I'm clearly not a family man, so I would also guess that those who are
have even less time...

Now I'm curious... Just how much liquid crack* do you have to do to get all
that accomplished?!?
