I think you mean the inside corners that I have to use? If so then yes they
have always been there. In retrospect I am not sure I should have used so many
inside corners. The reason is not because I don't like them, actually I love
them and that is the problem. Getting these in Gray is expensive. Currently I
think these only come in the X-Wing set and it has 2 (I have 5 of this set).
Thats a $30 set and while it is a great set for parts at that price I have to
wait for a good sale and often times the Star Wars sets are excluded from
sales. My next option is an auction but currently over in AucZilla XII these
parts are going for $2.00 a piece (Ouch!).
Luckly there is a way to "fudge" and inside corner using a 2x2 regular slope
and a Medium slope gable-apex brick. This "fudge" works in my case but it does
not work in all cases. The gable-apex brick is not common either but it is
quite a bit cheaper to get in auctions, currently $0.225 a piece over in
AucZilla.
So the long and short of it is I like the wall design to much to change it so
it is just going to be a slow road to get the pieces to make all the sections I
want. (C'mon LEGO Direct)

Thanks, I like it too and the best part is that it works for any 45 degree
corner so I just need 4 identical corners like this and I can make a square
wall.

Thank was a tough one. I think I tried about 6 different combinations before I
settled on this one. The red is a little bright for my tastes but it passes
for red brick better than anything else. Thats one of the differences between
working on a modern city and a medieval city in LEGO IMO. A modern city is
much more forgiving when it comes to color. Medieval cities just need to be
more drab and earthy otherwise things just look out of place.

Well you have to give credit where credit is due and I thought I would try and
have fun with it while I was at it and call it "The Dave Eaton Style" of
peasant structure.
