awesome inn!@!@! i have to admit i've created a couple small castles, but
have been completely dumbstruck for creating civilian buildings
one major problem i have is building roof corners (90 degree angle change).
I noticed you have figured this out - are there upside down red sloped
bricks?
Could you tell me what the piece is from? is it out-of-print, or available
via Shop-At-Home?

Sorry I am not as original as some of you when it comes to naming my • creations
so I had to try and put something in the header that would make you come • look
at my new Inn.

Seriously I did use a lot of gable ends on the Inn as well as a lot of • other
bricks as well.  One point of interest is the fact the I have used 4 of • the new
castle wall pieces that many of us have been trying to figure out a use • for.
Actually that is how this project started, as an experiment using these • pieces.
All that information is on the web page though so please go there and • then let
me know what you think.

Here is the URL to see the Inn:

Well there are no inverted (upside down) sloped bricks in there.  Everything
you need for a roof like this is in the service pack 5151-Red Steep Sloped
Bricks.

http://www.lugnet.com/pause/search/?query=5151-1

You will see you get both inside and outside corners for doing the 90 degree
turns.  One of the more difficult parts to figure out is when one roof peek has
to meet the slope of another roof like on the dormers of my Inn.  To do this
you use the part on the bottom row third from the left to join roofs this way.
If you need to turn a peek 90 degrees then you need to use a combination of
that piece plus the piece to the right of that piece and some regular peeks.

I know this sounds confusing but I would suggest getting a few these service
packs and just experimenting.  Thats what I did and to tell you the truth I did
not really know what I was doing at certain points in the roof and really had
to think to figure out how to make the angles work.  The best thing is to have
the parts in hand and just fool around.  In my experiance that is the best way
to learn.

I can guarentee you that all the parts you need to make a roof like the one on
my Inn are in that service pack.
