(...) I think that making good photos is the best way. You need a camera with good optical zoom, make your photos directly in front of head, and from a distance to minimize field of view. The technique I've been using to make minifig torsos can be extended to heads, but I have one critical problem that I haven't been able to figure out yet: Before tracing an image, I need an image that is facing the camera head-on. The recommended practice is to be faithful to the real part, eg. if the areas with background color are not printed, then use main color, otherwise use solid background color. Hi Reuben, (...) 4-4rin18 and 4-4rin19 are official files, released in 2010 (2010-01 and 2010-02). Since you missed at least 2 releases, I'd suggest you reinstall the complete LDraw library. (...) Hi all, I'm working on a model that includes the part 55981.dat. This references the sub-part 55981s01.dat.
