G'day folks,

Well, it's still 30 November in my time zone (EST) so I hope
I'm not too late.  Here is my second and last contest entry,
an Interceptor:
http://www3.sympatico.ca/flightdeck/interceptor.htm

It's only 85 pieces plus minifig, so it's in no-mans-land
between Categories 2 and 3.  I'd like to put it in
Category 2, Small ships.  It's dwarfed by most of the
ships in Category 3.

I couldn't find 2 of the printed classic space elements
in Ldraw that I wanted, so I just made do.  I don't have
access to a digicam right now to be able to take pics
of the prototype.

Note that my first entry has been moved to:
http://www3.sympatico.ca/flightdeck/lunarscout.htm

Both entries can be accessed from:
http://www3.sympatico.ca/flightdeck/classicspace.html
Sorry for the inconvenience with moving the page.

Thanx,
KDJ

(...) (Following up my own message here.) This one might be too big for a Cat2 ship too. Is someone going to make judgement calls to move models into more appropriate categories? (...) I assume that one of the pieces is the blue 33 degree 3x6 slope. I'm currently working on it, but I don't expect it to be done terribly soon. You can use my mockup, though. The only problem with the mockup is that the logo is far too small (I (...) (23 years ago, 1-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Cool! I really like the overhead profile too. It gives you this sence of speed and great menuverability(sp?)... </Kyle> -- AIM: legomankyle or KyleKeppler ___...___ (...) (23 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

G'day Folks, With the deadline extension, I went back and added an alternate to one of my submissions that didn't have one. This is to make it official. The page is updated at the same address, so no contest site updates needed. It's about 21:50 (...) (23 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

It seems like it would be appropriate to start a separate thread specifically for holding actual entries. With that, here are my first 3 entries: Category 3: Medium Ships (approx. 100-200 pieces): (URL) 4: Large Ships (approx. 300-1000 pieces): (...)
