Why buy 10?  Do you buy these for the types of parts in them?  Looks like they
have alot of black bricks and maybe some nice doors. Just curious.

(in reference to me being happy about buying 10x 5542 at half price)

Well, they're half price.  I try very hard to only buy things at half price,
especially Lego stuff.  So that's a partial reason.

Another is I don't really like to buy less than 10 of any Lego set.  If there
are parts I want in it and/or (preferably AND) parts I know will sell well in
my parts sales, I rarely bother with less than 10.  10's an easy number - nice
and round, easy to do the math, easy to work with.

I realized after I bought these that the train windows might not be as popular
as they once were, since all the soccer stuff has come out, and maybe the
doors too, but I'm not too concerned.

Well, seeing as there isn't a yellow soccer bus... and there are no current
sets with train doors, I think you've still got the potential to come close to
making $20 on the doors and windows. I may have to order some more of these
myself.

Too late.  They are already out.
