It is time for the official annoucement that AuctionBrick.com is now closed. I would like to extend a BIG thank you to those of you who stopped by, looked, listed and bid over the years. But my heart hasn’t been in this project for some time now, and it has been unable to compete with more established Lego auction venues.

AuctionBrick.com was a website designed around auction sales of Lego related items by and for anyone. Over 1000 users joined up and over 6000 items were listed over the years it was live from, 2003 to 2007. I continue to hold the domain and the software, and I would like to see it reborn. If you have the spirit to revive this project (currently written in Perl), please let me know. What I have is for sale very reasonably priced to the right buyer. Feel free to email me if you want to talk about it, or just chat about the AuctionBrick experience.

Thanks again for the fun!

In the meantime, you can still see my Lego Roller Coaster pictures and other Lego projects of mine formerly hosted at AuctionBrick at www.horseshoebendranch.net. And be sure to check out my wonderful Mushroom Bins for sorting and storing your Lego parts, as seen at BrickFest 2007 and NWBrickCon for several years.

-Matt :)
