(22 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.loc.it)

Re: TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

(...) I guess it all depends on how you define a discontinued set, and even what constitutes a re-release (and does a set have to be discontinued to be re-released?). If we define a set with more than one copyright date as a re-release, then there (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.duplo)

(24 years ago, 24-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

  Re: 2000 lego???

(...) This happened to me last year. Saw a bunch of unopened boxes in the Emeryville CA Toys R Us with 3xxx numbers. Thought it might be 1999 ninja sets, but they were actually just Classic.   Re: Arctic is Town (was: Re: My Analysis of the 2000 Sets)

(...) Logically speaking, that conclusion doesn't follow.[1] Something being in 63xx-66xx means that it definitely is Town, but something not being 63xx-66xx doesn't necessarily mean that it's not Town. For example, 9 of the ~23 Ninja sets are in (...) (25 years ago, 10-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town, lugnet.admin.database)

(...) Ah, but sometimes they do (anything in 6800-6999 :-). But I admit, it's possible that TLG may someday destroy the sacred 6800-6999 range as they destroyed the 6700-6799 range. 67xx used to be solely for Space minifigs and Space Light & Sound (...) (...) The use of the 3xxx and 4xxx series numbers for next year's Castle Ninja release has resulted from the fact that the 60xx series is near exhausted. LEGO will be moving to a six-digit set number within the next couple of years. Grahame Reid (25 years ago, 22-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)
