Re: New Belville promo polybag set (picture)

(...) The number 5873 would indicate a regular Belville series issue set rather than a promotional item, wouldn't it? Past promotional items have been in the 2XXX series. Cheers, WES (21 years ago, 7-Jul-03, to lugnet.promo, lugnet.belville, FTX)

Re: TLC re-releasing discontinued LEGO Duplo set!

(...) I guess it all depends on how you define a discontinued set, and even what constitutes a re-release (and does a set have to be discontinued to be re-released?). If we define a set with more than one copyright date as a re-release, then there (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.database, lugnet.general, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.duplo)

Bad News about Mickey Mouse Lego?

I called the UK version of Lego s@h to get a few service packs. After I placed my order, I asked about the Mickey Mouse Lego. The TLC employee said, it would be out "soon" in the UK. But then she corrected me. She said it would not be *Lego*, it (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Limited release sets and promotional sets typically use 1xxx or 2xxx set numbers. Some of these (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-99, to lugnet.general)

I've almost all of the RESQ sets except ERC (too much town jr.ish) and one or two s@h only sets (2xxx sets released through the end of year). The admiralship of the series is the RESQ Cruiser in my opinion. Aerial recovery set could have been very (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jan-99, to lugnet.reviews)

  Re: US Sets and Europe

(...) You mean that even among European countries (Turkey = Europe?) the lines aren't the same? In the Netherlands (or Holland as some heretics would call it) we do have the streetsweeper. In some stores, we sometimes get a few of the 2xxx-sets, the (...) (25 years ago, 16-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
