Marc
("Doc B.")

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Star Wars, Old Expert Builder, Fire and Police sets.

My fascination with LEGO began... At age six with the first second-hand bucket of red and white bricks.

I once built... A tower so tall it touched the ceiling of my bedroom. You should have seen and heard the collapse!

Someday I will build... A spaceship too big to move out of my den.

LEGO is great because... It can be a mindless assembly process to relax after a brutal day of work, a taxing project that is never done, an exciting creative process, or a big mess of fun on the floor with the nephews and THEIR bricks (mine are never disorganized)

LEGO fans are great because... They retain their inner child, stay creative and whimsicle.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Original Star Wars action figures, Transformers.

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Science, machining,

My favorite Foods: Chinese, Thai, German baked goods.

My favorite Movies & TV: Sci-fi generally - Heros, Lost, Farscape, Firefly, Invader Zim.

My favorite Artists: Survival Research Labs

My favorite Music: The whole spectrum

My favorite Pets & Animals: Cats... many cats.

Words which best describe me: unconventional

I love it when... Things work the first time with minimal fuss.

I hate it when... Things work exactly as intended and designed. When things get completely predictable.

I can't seem to get enough... Chinese food.

I always seem to have enough... ...laundry to fold.

I hope I always... ...have time to appreciate the simple joys of life, and have the energy and perspective to laugh at life's little disappointments.

I wish I could... ...lose 80 lbs.

I could never... ...accept that something cannot be done with out first trying, reassessing and trying again.

I hope I never... ...become single-minded, closed-minded and obstenant.

I wish I hadn't... ...gotten my doctorate in chemistry. It was a collosal waste of time and I ultimately am very happy doing a job I could have gotten with a B.S. degree. Sometimes simplicity is the best path.

In my craziest moments... ... I am utterly, outrageously mad.

Believe it or not... ... I climb into burning buildings without getting paid to do it.

If I were super-human... ... I'd use my powers to confuse people and myself more than I presently do.

More & Less:
  • more Kindness, less Apathy
  • more mature women in short skirts, less Bratz in real life
  • more giant robots, less cellphones that play music

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Treat others as you would be treated.
  2. My cats, then people, then money, then things.
  3. Don't depend on others, but rely on them.
