Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Space... Black-tron, M-tron, Space Police, Ice Planet. I take inspiration from Star Trek DS9, The original Star Wars, and Battle Star Galactica.

My fascination with LEGO began... As early as I can remember, really. From my first Duplo block, I've been hooked. I remember I won the county fair model competition two years in a row with my my own lego models when I was quite young. Not long after that, I built an automated lego washing/drying conveyor-belt for my 6th grade science grade project, and received 2nd prize for that. My room was the Space Lego Galexy for at least four years straight. I finally decided that girls and legos didn't generally mix when I was in my junior year of high school, and took down the ships hanging by fishing line, and disconnected the monorail that circumnavigated the room (galaxy). About a year ago I decided to get the old lastice pieces out again, and was instantly re-addicted. So here I am.

I once built... In my freshman year of high school, I built a two and a half foot long captal ship complete with bridge, wepons room, engine room, gally/mess hall, fitnes center, escape pods, and cabins/bunks. I acomplished this by having it divided up into multiple stories, two up fron for the bridge and weapons control room, then three in the back two thirds of the ship for the rest... I think it had a crew of 23 (from captain to chef)

Someday I will build... An orbital space station and a capital ship similar in design to the one described above (think DS9 and the Defiant, but different). I love making space ships that seem like they could be fully functional.

LEGO is great because... No mater how bad things get, you can just take things apart or put them together... unlike life.

LEGO fans are great because... We are the perfect blend of artist and engineer.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: my iPod, my fish tanks.

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: music, webcomics, fish tanks, bicycles, Biology.

My favorite Foods: everything... especially sushi, Chinese, and Mexican.

My favorite Movies & TV: Six-String Samuri, The Fifth Element, Akira, The Princess Bride, Donny Darko, Big Fish

My favorite Artists: Rene Magritte, Salvador dali, Edward Munch, Marcel Duchamp, Van Gogh

My favorite Music: MMW, Beck, White Stripes, Broken Social Scene, Gorillaz, Sage Francis, Notwist, Davis, Bird, Monk

My favorite Pets & Animals: Lizards (leaftailed geckos, bearded dragon), cats, fish.

Words which best describe me: Unique, distracted, liberal, nerdy, intelligent, arrogant, kind, enthusiastic, loud, Nordic, funny

I love it when... ...it rains when the sun is shinning. I make my wife happy without trying. ...the pieces fit without trying.

I hate it when... ...things fall apart and can't be put back together.

I can't seem to get enough... ...Music, Quaker Granola, chocolate, exercise, education, money, time, pieces.

I always seem to have enough... ...love'n, ignorant conservative ideas to scoff, fun.

I hope I always... ...play with lego, listen to indie music, learn something everyday.

I wish I could... ...Play with lego more often, spend more money on lego, spend more time with my son.

I could never... ...leave my son or my wife, stop eating meat.

I hope I never... ...start listening to pop music for any reason but to scoff at it.

I wish I hadn't... ...ever put my legos away.

In my craziest moments... ...I resemble an albino orangutan on speed.

Believe it or not... ...I'm 24, married to the same girl since we were both 18, and have a kid... and I'm happy.

If I were super-human... I would be a cross between Nightcrawler and Wolverine: A telaporting, acrobatic, witty, charming swashbuckler, with a prehensile tail, but also a mutant healing-factor and an indestructible Adamantium skeleton, and the tough gritty side that goes with the latter attributes.

More & Less:
  • more thought, less ignorance
  • more art, less censorship
  • more real, less fake

Rules I try to live by:
  1. As trite as it seems: "The golden rule"
  2. I can always learn something new, and therefore I will never know everything.
  3. Eat like it might be your last meal, fucI< like it's you last time, and always speak your mind.
