Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Homes, houses, architectural, building, castles

My fascination with LEGO began... when I was 4...I'm 43 now...

I once built... a home that looked like a Frank Lloyd Wright design

Someday I will build... whatever my creative 'little' (hey, watch it!!) mind comes up with...

LEGO is great because... it's multi-cultural, multi-generational, appeals to just about anyone, and can spawn wonderful ideas for students (alright, I'm a teacher, you got me...)

LEGO fans are great because... they share ideas, they are caring, they are the salt of the earth, need I say more?

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: puzzles, kits, things that fly, building blocks, MORE LEGO's!!

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: photography, framing, drawing, sketching, drafting, sports

My favorite Foods: German food, Asian food, Indian food, ALL FOOD

My favorite Movies & TV: Bogart, Tom Clancy, Clive Cusler, PBS, Discover Channel, TLC

My favorite Artists: Rembrant, Michaelangelo, Galileo (yes he was...), Van Gogh, Chiluly

My favorite Music: Jazz, Funk, R/B, Dance, 70's, 80's, some pop, some rap,

My favorite Pets & Animals: Maltese furball, tropical fish, miniature macaw, my wife and daughter

Words which best describe me: designerly

I love it when... I can spend time with my family and LEGO at the same time!

I hate it when... I can't spend time with my family and LEGO either one or both

I can't seem to get enough... time to play!!

I always seem to have enough... time to work!!

I hope I always... see things through the eyes of children and wait before I make any judgements upon anyone...and see the best in others

I wish I could... make education totally and wholly for the KIDS

I could never... be a politician, administrator, or someone who didn't have an original IDEA!! (nuff said...)

I hope I never... wind up bored with life and people...but that's not gonna happen

I wish I hadn't... spent so much time watching meaningless TV shows. now its learning and growing and sports!

In my craziest moments... I was just a little bit wild in college+...but I'm all better now, thanks for asking.

Believe it or not... I have a couple of graduate degrees, which qualifies me for absolutely nothing special and probably disqualifies me from alot of things!

If I were super-human... I'd make kids have more say in everyday life, and make it mandatory to have a heart and to use it daily for the betterment of everyone's lives (are you hearing this politicians and policy makers all over the world?; I'm sure I'm on the list now, but am I shaking? I think NOT!!)

More & Less:
  • more exotic pizza toppings like calamata olives, garlic, pesto, anchovies, etc, less synthetic and simulated cheese type 'food'; preservatives
  • more LEGO enthusiasts who will one day create a utopian society, all living in lego homes, less people trying to create a utopian society (Brandenburgs, Trilateralists, Masons, Cpt. Kangaroo fans
  • more Happiness and self-contentedness, less greed, lust, power, control,

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Live simply and observe life like a child
  2. Love fully and forgive (and be forgiven) thru God's Grace
  3. Think carefully and thoroughly (check details)

Additional comments:

LUGNET is a wonderful resource and I commend all of the members for contributing a positive and highly creative environment for kids and adults. I will do my best to maintain and contribute to that 'creative spirit'. Keep up the good work.
