Jay Sim
("Chase23")

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Lego Town,Trains, and anything else that has to do with town in one way or another. I do like other themes like space and castle but I hardly buy any of those sets.

My fascination with LEGO began... When I was 7 years old and my interest waxed and waned ever since then. I used to always play with legos and build many creations with my friends in elementary school.

I once built... A lego super space station with a space ship that was over 3 feet long and 2 feet wide that encompassed a lego space Airwolf and other ships and crafts.

Someday I will build... A Legopolis which satisfies my vision of a lego city.

LEGO is great because... It fuels a child's imagination and gives a child dreams and visions for a better future.

LEGO fans are great because... They seem to be nice people in general.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Original Transformers, Original G.I. Joes, Game systems, and other toys.

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Airsoft, paintball, playing basketball, and other activities.

My favorite Foods: Pizza, Chinese food, Korean food, specialty hamburgers, and many other wonderful cultural foods.

My favorite Movies & TV: The Fifth Element, Gladiator, Airwolf, A-Team, Knight Rider, and many others.

My favorite Music: All types, but more into new wave and 80's music.

My favorite Pets & Animals: Dogs, and ferrets.

Words which best describe me: I am stubborn, respectful, humble, reserved, and open minded for most things.

I love it when... I find a great MISB Set for a decent price.

I hate it when... I find out that it is nearly impossible to get some sets that I really want.

I can't seem to get enough... of Legos and finding great MISB sets I don't have.

I wish I could... of bought all the old legos I wanted during my childhood.

I could never... keep my legos in MISB Condition. I always like to open and build them.

I hope I never... lose my interest in Legos and all the childlike ideals and imagination.

More & Less:
  • more Friendliness and Understanding, less Ignorance and Hatred
  • more 80s & Early 90s Toys and genre, less Low quality toys and genre
  • more Classic lego sets like in the years (1979-1997)., less quality sets like Jack Stone.

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Respect and treat others like you want to be treated and respected.
  2. Try to live in harmony with your surrounding environment be it people and/or nature.
  3. Look at life with an open mind to see other people's aspects and ideas to understand more.

Additional comments:

I am really seeing the trend where all toys seem to get worse in quality as we head into the future. Toys and things in the world get more flashy with less quality. The toys in the 80s and early to mid 90s were the best toys ever including LEGO, G.I. Joe, Transformers, M.A.S.K. , and many others during those years. I wish I could go back in time and purchase all those Toys especially LEGOs. (What a dreamer!)
